Being green is good, but saving money is even better

Preparation

If you want to follow the rules of the art of recovery wooden palletsFor example, they have to be collected from the street. But I’ve come up against 2 problems:

  • Where I am, there are very few. I’ve even scouted the industrial estate several times, but the warehouses return the pallets to the suppliers. I’ve even waited for a delivery driver to turn his back to pick one up.
  • And when I found some, they disappeared while I found a transport solution.

I’ve lost 3 weeks, so you have to choose wisely. Looking for pallets takes a lot of energy. I’ve lost a lot. So I decided to buy 4 at 3 euros/pallet. I had to give myself a boost before I got demotivated.

I’m all for being green and recycling, but not at the expense of my fitness and energy. It’s the same for buying my substrate bags, where I had to cycle several kilometres to find the least chemical ones possible. Being green also means saving money. I prefer to be ‘eco-nome or eco-lo’. Respecting nature also starts with yourself.
