I planted the trio (2 basil plants and 1 tomato plant) because I didn’t want to untangle their rootlets and cause more shocks.
I took the risk that they might not develop as quickly, but in any case they will grow together.
And there’s nothing to stop them spreading their rootlets to the surrounding area.
