And if I were an onion, I’d understand. They’re so beautiful. Onions belong to the Amaryllidaceae family. It improves the growth of many vegetables in the garden: beetroot, chard, tomatoes and strawberries. I seriously believe that my onions have fallen under the spell of my beautiful chard, even if it means forgetting themselves. They remained very small, very shy and no doubt very ‘impressed’, compared with those in my pots, which are much taller and bigger.
